Bandung, 30 April 2026 As part of expanding practical insights and cross-sector understanding, JAVABOUND 2026 participants conducted industrial and educational visits to PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) and Balai Inseminasi Buatan Lembang. This program served as an essential component in bridging academic knowledge with real-world applications.
During the visit to PT KAI, participants were introduced to Indonesia’s railway operational systems, including transportation management, service innovation, and digital transformation initiatives aimed at improving efficiency and public service quality. They also gained insights into the strategic role of railway transportation in supporting mobility and national economic growth.
Participants showed great enthusiasm during interactive discussions, where they explored topics related to technology, management, and future collaboration opportunities. This visit provided new perspectives, especially for international students, on the development of transportation infrastructure in Indonesia.

The visit continued to Balai Inseminasi Buatan Lembang, one of Indonesia’s key centers for livestock reproductive technology. Participants learned about artificial insemination processes, genetic management, and its contribution to improving livestock quality and productivity.
In addition to presentations, participants toured laboratory facilities and observed standardized production processes firsthand. This experience provided a clear picture of how science and technology are applied in modern agriculture.

Reflecting the Sundanese proverb “Hirup kudu loba elmu, sangkan hirup leuwih mangpaat” (life must be enriched with knowledge to be more meaningful), this activity highlighted the importance of practical and impactful learning.
A participant shared, “This visit was truly insightful. We were able to see how academic theories are implemented in industry and government institutions.”
Through visits to PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) and Balai Inseminasi Buatan Lembang, JAVABOUND 2026 reaffirmed its commitment to delivering comprehensive learning experiences by integrating academic, cultural, natural, and industrial aspects into one cohesive program.
